Sanju Samson celebrates his century

Indian Cricket Team scripted history during the 3rd t20 international against Bangladesh courtesy of a breathtaking batting display by Sanju Samson. The Kerala player with his scintillating 40 balls 100 became the second fastest Indian player and the first Indian WK to score a T20I century. He scored 111 runs from just 47 balls, including 11 fours and 8 sixes. He even smashed 5 sixes in an over against Bangladesh spinner Rishad Hossain. This inning will provide much-needed confidence to Sanju as he is yet to book a permanent spot in the team despite being talented.

Indian captain Surya Kumar Yadav provided much-needed support to Samson after losing Abhishek Sharma early. He carried on his fine form and scored 75 runs in just 35 balls. Sanju and SKY also broke several records with their record-breaking partnership of 173 runs. This is the 3rd highest partnership for India in T20Is and the 4th highest 2nd wicket partnership in T20Is.
